ATS works with many different types of businesses such as big food stores, protein makers and strawberry growers. They specialize in shipping delicate goods at controlled temperatures because they can see the temperature and location of trailers in real time. They also work with food, drinks, market goods and commodities.

The Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration website is tied directly to ATS’s technology. This means they can’t give a load to a bad carrier. ATS has many types of equipment such as heated (Reefer) trailers, power only trailers and trucks with multiple stops. Their tracking system is run by McLeod software and works with both Descartes and Emerson (Locus Traxx) so you can see what’s going on and check the temperature while it’s in transit.

When you integrate an API real time tracking is added to the driver’s electronic record for every package. This lets you automate everything and see where the truck is at all times. Then this technology is put into a map that shows the truck going down the road. This map is then shown on the customer site by customer PO#s.

ATS is fully integrated with Fourkites and can make EDI 214 status update links to most customer software. This lets your team see real time map views in the way that works best for them.
