The Pitney Bowes solution is built on a RESTful web services design, so integration is faster and less setup and testing time. It also increases transaction speed and capacity.

Rob Glance, Executive Vice President of IT at Visible, said Pitney Bowes and ConnectShip’s infrastructure was great. They moved fast on the project and it was easier to connect to the new system than the old one. The old way took 4 weeks to set up, the ConnectShip solution with the Pitney Bowes API took 24 hours. Visible is seeing big changes because transaction times are so much faster. They can ship more volume per shift and get it out the door faster.
